What is Savor Southern Oregon?

Savor Southern Oregon is the Rogue Valley’s premier wine event—a two-day celebration offering an immersive experience into the region’s world-class winemaking. Featuring over 50 wineries, expert-led tastings, and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere, it’s perfect for wine lovers of all levels.

The event will be held June 12–13, 2026 at Bigham Knoll Campus in Jacksonville, Oregon, just outside of Medford.

Savor Southern Oregon is held outdoors on a large grassy area. Vendors are set up under enclosed tents, and guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

The event is strictly 21 and over. No exceptions.

No, pets are not permitted at the event. Please leave your furry friends at home.

Tickets are expected to go on sale in early Spring 2026. Early bird pricing and VIP packages will be available for a limited time.

Vendor applications open in January 2026. Participating wineries must grow and produce wines exclusively from the Rogue Valley AVA. A full list of featured wineries will be posted closer to the event. View 2025 participants here.

Yes! We encourage you to shop your favorite wines throughout the event. A convenient will-call system allows us to store your purchases and load them into your vehicle when you’re ready to leave.

“Wine Country Casual” – stylish yet comfortable. Think sundresses, polos, or smart casual attire with shoes suitable for grass or uneven ground. We also recommend light layers, hats, and sunglasses for sun protection.

Medford is located in Southern Oregon, along I-5, about 30 miles north of the California border—roughly halfway between San Francisco and Portland.

Medford is easily accessible by car or plane.

Driving times from major cities:
• Portland, OR – ~4.5 hours south via I-5
• Sacramento, CA – ~5.5 hours north via I-5
• Bay Area (San Francisco) – ~6–7 hours via I-5 or Hwy 101 & 199

Flying:
The Rogue Valley International–Medford Airport (MFR) offers direct daily flights from Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, and Phoenix.

Medford and Jacksonville offer a variety of lodging options. Many local hotels will provide special event rates and weekend packages—subscribe to our email list for updates when deals go live.

Parking is available in City of Jacksonville public lots. Carpooling is highly encouraged. ADA-accessible parking is available at the venue with valid credentials.

Yes!

  • Shuttles run 30 minutes before and after event hours, dropping off at Bigham Knoll Campus (no on-site parking).
  • Rideshare is encouraged, with designated drop-off/pickup zones right at the entrance.
